CLCAF Joint Apprenticeship Training Center and Policy Tour
Have you ever wanted to learn more about apprenticeships in the state of California? Are you curious what "sheet metal" work actually is? Have you ever wanted to tour a job training site or facility? CLCAF is excited to invite you to attend this educational policy tour!

Site Location: Sheet Metal Workers Local 104 – Fairfield Training Facility

This Policy Tour will include a tour of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 104 Training Facility in Fairfield, CA and a lunch and follow up panel discussion. This tour and panel discussion will provide an opportunity for CLCAF members and members of the Capitol Community to ask questions and learn about the building trades, hear from workers who have had on the job training, learn about the benefits of the career path, and learn about state investments, environmental partnerships, efforts to diversify the workforce etc.
Transportation to Fairfield, CA and back to Sacramento, CA and lunch will be provided for the first 24 participants. This event is first come, first served! Please RSVP below. Email confirmation will be sent to you to confirm your spot on the bus.
We will also have a waitlist in the event spots open up!
All attendees must adhere to CLCAF's Code of Conduct in participating at this and all CLCAF events.

Join us for an unforgettable night as we celebrate the rich cultural tradition of Dia De Los Meurtos while supporting a great cause!

This event will serve as a vibrant platform for our members to connect, unwind, and indulge in the spirit of Dia De Los Meurtos.
Highlights of the evening:
1. Community Altar created by local artists and community members: As a special feature of the evening, we invite all attendees to bring a small memento or photograph of their departed loved ones to contribute (temporarily) to our community altar. This altar will be a center of remembrance and reflection, fostering a collective space to honor those no longer with us.
2. Live Music - traditional and contemporary Latino music from a local Mariachi Band.
3. Food and Drinks - Latino cuisine and beverages will be available.
